Pastor's Points - September 2026

Church Family,

There are some moments in the life of a church that deserve to be celebrated, not simply because of what has been accomplished, but because of what those moments remind us about the faithfulness of God. The completion and opening of our North Campus is one of those moments. This has been a long time coming.

During the days of COVID, when so much about the future seemed uncertain, our church stepped out in faith and purchased the property that would eventually become our North Campus. At the time, none of us could have known all that the coming years would hold. We could not have anticipated every challenge, delay, expense, or unexpected turn along the way. But God knew. And through every step of the journey, God has been faithful.

There have been times when the road seemed difficult and the destination seemed far away. Yet God has continued to provide, guide, sustain, and strengthen His church. What began as a step of faith during a very uncertain season has now become a completed campus and a new opportunity for ministry. And perhaps one of the greatest things we can celebrate is not simply that we have finished a building project. We can celebrate that God has brought us through the journey stronger and more prepared for the ministry He has called us to do.

The North Campus represents much more than bricks, walls, classrooms, and gathering spaces. Those things are simply tools. The real purpose of this property has always been ministry. It is about people. It is about ministry in the future. It is about creating opportunities for the gospel to be proclaimed, disciples to be made, families to be strengthened, and people to encounter the truth of God’s Word. It is about taking the next steps in the continued legacy of ministry that God has entrusted to our church.

Our church has a history worth celebrating. For generations, God has used faithful men and women who have served, sacrificed, prayed, given, taught, discipled, and proclaimed the gospel. We stand today on the shoulders of those who came before us. But a legacy is not something we simply preserve. A legacy is something we faithfully carry forward. The opening of our North Campus represents one of those next steps.
We are not simply opening a new facility; we are opening a new opportunity for ministry. We are taking our first steps onto this property with a vision for what God may choose to do there in the years ahead. That should cause us to look both backward and forward. We look backward with gratitude for all God has done. We look around with thanksgiving for the faithfulness and generosity of our church family. And we look forward with anticipation, trusting that the same God who has been faithful to us throughout this journey will continue to lead us into the future.

There is something humbling about standing at the beginning of a new chapter. We don’t know everything that God has planned. We don’t know every story that will be written, every life that will be changed, or every ministry opportunity that will come. But we know the God who holds the future. And so, as we celebrate the completion and opening of our North Campus, my prayer is that we will remember that the building is not the destination. It is a tool for the mission.

May these buildings be filled with the Word of God. May they be filled with prayer. May they be filled with worship. May they be filled with people from our community who need the hope of the gospel. And may future generations look back on this moment and say, “God was faithful, and His people were willing to follow Him.”

What began with a step of faith during COVID has brought us to this moment. We have come through the challenges, and by God’s grace, we have come through them stronger. Now we take our first steps into this new campus. And we do so with gratitude for the past, confidence in God’s faithfulness, and great anticipation for what He will do in the future.

Throughout the years, God has moved. My prayer is that we will continue to follow Him as He leads us forward!!
