Pastor's Points - August 2026

Church Family
One of the greatest joys of serving as your pastor is watching God accomplish what only He can do through the faithfulness of His people. After six years of praying, sacrificing, giving, planning, and working together, we are approaching a milestone that many of us have anticipated for a long time.
Lord willing, near the end of August we will dedicate our North Campus and begin holding our 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service there, along with most of our 9:30 a.m. Life Groups. Life Groups that require children’s ministry will continue meeting at the South Campus. What once seemed like a distant vision is now becoming a reality because of God’s grace and the faithful generosity of our church family.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has played a part in making this possible. Thank you to those who have faithfully given financially throughout the years—and to those who continue to give so that this ministry can be completed and positioned for future growth. Your generosity is an investment in the Kingdom of God and in the generations of people who will hear the gospel, be discipled, and come to know Christ through the ministry that will take place on this campus.
Thank you also to the many volunteers who have spent countless hours serving during workdays and to those who have faithfully served at the North Campus week after week, often behind the scenes, tackling projects both large and small. Much of what has been accomplished will never receive public recognition, but the Lord has seen every act of service. Your willingness to give your time, your skills, and your energy has made a tremendous difference.
As we approach our dedication day, you will be hearing about opportunities to help us complete a final punch list of projects. Many of these tasks will be simple, but together they will help us prepare the campus to welcome our church family and guests. I encourage you to prayerfully consider how you might serve during these final weeks. It is another opportunity for all of us to take ownership of this ministry and celebrate what God is doing through His church.
As exciting as this building is, it is important to remember that our greatest joy is not found in bricks and mortar. This campus exists to help us fulfill the mission Christ has given us—to make disciples who make disciples, proclaim the gospel, and reach more people with the hope of Jesus Christ. We are not simply opening a building; we are expanding our capacity for ministry and preparing for the future God has for our church.
Please continue to pray as we complete the remaining work over the coming weeks. Pray for safety, wisdom, and unity as we prepare for this new chapter. Most importantly, pray that God would use the North Campus to change lives, strengthen families, equip believers, and draw many people to saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your faithfulness, your generosity, and your commitment to what God is doing through our church. I cannot wait to celebrate this special day together as we dedicate the North Campus to the glory of God and begin worshiping and serving there as one church with one mission.
As we prepare to take this next step together, let us remember that this dedication is not the finish line; it is the starting line for a new season of gospel ministry. For years you have heard me say, “As God moves, we move.” That has been our desire as a church family, and it remains our commitment today. We never want to become comfortable where we are when God is calling us to greater faithfulness. May we continue to follow His leading with faith, courage, and joyful obedience wherever He directs us next.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving as your pastor. I look forward to all that God has in store for us as, together, we continue to follow Him.
I love you, and I love being your pastor
