March Kids Happenings
Hello Church Family,
Let me tell you that after this cold weather we have had, it is hard to believe that the first day of spring is March 20th. Spring is a time when worms begin to emerge from the earth, ladybugs land on screen doors, green buds appear, birds chirp, and flowers begin to bloom. Yep, it’s hard to imagine a springtime atmosphere when the temperature has been in the single digits and you still need to clean the dirty salt off of your car. But, it’s true springtime is near and we need to start preparing… Preparing for Children’s Musicals, Easter Egg Hunts, Vacation Bible School, and Kids Camp! Please start preparing with me and our children’s ministry this month by signing up and helping in the following areas.
- Easter Eggstravaganza - Saturday, April 4th 1pm @ the Associational Grounds. Volunteer Sign ups and Candy donations accepted in lobby. Egg Filling Fun will take place Wed. March 18th 9am & Wed. March 25th 6pm.
- VBS (Journey off the map) - June 22nd-26th. Volunteer sign up sheets are located in the lobby. Please be prayerfully deciding if you would like to work with our children in VBS. We have several needs, for example:
leaders for all ages up to 5th grade, recreation, snacks, crafts, music, drama, missions and decorations. - Crossings Kids Camp - July 22nd-25th cost $260 for more info go to www.gocrossings.org
