The following prayer requests all come from Sub-Saharan Africa, where church members Todd and Michele Linn are currently
serving in Zambia. Todd is a lecturer at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Lusaka, a city of over three million people.
Prayer Focus - Sub-Saharan African People: Pray for the relationships missionaries are developing with conventions and
seminaries within Sub-Saharan Africa. Pray healthy partnerships would form and that existing relationships would continue toward
even deeper partnerships. Pray God would give current missionaries humility and wisdom in how to partner and how to help equip
the various conventions and seminaries.
Prayer Focus - Sub-Saharan African Peoples: Rapid urbanization is happening in many Sub-Saharan African cities due to
conflict in surrounding areas. Multiple unreached people groups are moving to cities or urban areas because of this. Pray those
who work in cities would be able to access these unreached people groups and that more workers would come to help reach them
with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Prayer Focus - Sub-Saharan African Peoples: Ask the Lord to guide and bless the plans for a Senders Summit for African
churches and conventions happening this year. Pray these African churches would grow to be Great Commission churches sending
African missionaries to the ends of the earth.
Prayer Focus - Sub-Saharan African Peoples: With more than 400 unengaged, unreached people groups remaining in
Sub-Saharan Africa, pray the Lord would provide the access and laborers needed to make His name known to the ends of the
earth. Pray God would open doors to the hard-to-reach areas in Sub-Saharan Africa so that these unengaged, unreached people
would hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
