David & Sara Gaskins
Provo, Utah
David and Sara Gaskins live in Utah with their young children, where they planted Mosaic Church in the city of Provo-home to Brigham Young University and that David calls the “heartbeat and hub” of the worldwide Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints.
“Planting a church here is obviously a tall order,” David said, “but we love [Latter-day Saints] and want them to believe in the real Jesus. That’s why we came.”
More than five years in, Mosaic Church has grown from 24 people to about 120 on Sundays. Many are former Latter-day Saints who, after trusting Christ, face serious consequences-losing jobs, being shunned by family, or both. But despite the cost, they are boldly following Jesus.
The Gaskins family has witnessed numerous professions of faith and baptisms-many from individuals who are the first believers in generations of their families.
THE COOPERATIVE PROGRAM is the financial fuel for reaching every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation. Through the Cooperative Program, you help people in Provo hear and see the truth about Jesus.
PRAY God would grow David and Sara closer together while they live and serve in a difficult place.
