What is Global Hunger Relief?
Established in 1978 as the World Hunger Fund, Global Hunger Relief (GHR) is an initiative of the Southern Baptist Convention dedicated to combating hunger and sharing the Bread of Life.
GHR - funded projects support crisis hunger response during natural disasters and focus on long term solutions to end chronic hunger. Money goes toward job skills, training, livestock and seed distribution, clean waters, home reconstruction, and medical care.
On Sunday, June 8th hunger banks will be available for each family to be returned Sunday, August 3rd. Your generous support will go toward meeting needs both in North America and around the world. One hundred percent of your donations go toward hunger needs. Nothing is taken out for administrative or promotional costs.
Almost 800 million around the world live in constant hunger. We can fight this crisis through Global Hunger Relief.
