The Kid's Ministry at Oakhill is an exciting place. We offer many activities and programs for children that will help them grow in their faith. Below you can see a list of regular programs that we offer. In addition to these weekly programs there are many different events that are offered throughout the year for your child to take part in. As you can see, children's ministry is important at Oakhill Baptist Church. We look forward to ministering to you and your child.

KIDS Worship & Life groups - SUNDAY 9:30 A.M. & 11:00 A.M.

Kids Worship & Life Groups are where children PreK to 5th grade learn dynamic Bible lessons from caring teachers and also experience intentional age appropriate worship specifically designed for kids.  Register your child at the Kids Check-in Desk located at the top of the main stairwell at entrance B.   Childcare is is also available for children 6 weeks to 3 years.


AWANA - WED. 6:00 P.M.

 AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed  (2 Timothy 2:15).  AWANA is a Bible club for children 3 years (two years from Kindergarten) to 6th grade.  It is a fun and exciting program that is centered on the Gospel, Bible learning, and scripture memory.  AWANA helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.  Our program offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.

Club Information

  • Who can attend - Children 3yrs (two years from starting Kindergarten) thru 6th grade
  • Where - Oakhill South Campus (4615 Oak Hill Rd)
  • When - Wed. Evenings 6pm - 7:30pm (September through April)

UPWARD BASKETBALL AND CHEERLEADING

Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is a Christian based sports program that seeks to teach and encourage kids through sports. Children will learn basic sports skills while developing a sense of teamwork and good sportsmanship. The program is offered December through February annually.
